 | Zheng Mei Xing 14 14 February 2003 student hogwarts/hufflepuff pureblood Bath, England | PERSONALITY: Meixing is a sweet little girl, she is a total social butterfly and like to make friends with everyone. She is fairly protective of the people she considers are close to her, and will pick a fight with them if anyone tries to hurt them. Even though she looks innocent and naive, she takes the time to calculate things and makes sure that she can win in the battles she starts. Sometimes, she can be impulsive, but usually it ends up well in the end as she starts realizing that she has to think things through again. LIKES/DISLIKES: Meixing is interested in making friends with everyone, particularly a Slytherin she thinks is adorable. She likes to be adventurous and loves climbing trees but she will stay the hell away from that terrifying Whomping Willow. Books are fun to read as long as they are fictional, and even though she’s a pureblood, she has nothing against the muggleborns. However, the young girl doesn’t like bullies or anyone that might mess with the lives of the people she cares about. Meixing doesn’t like to be around people that are purists, but it seems like she’s the only one in her family that couldn’t careless about the people’s blood status. ASPIRATIONS: Meixing is still too young to think of anything past her school years, but she hopes that one day she will be able to be the brilliant star she’s supposed to be or a model, whichever she was better at when she graduated. |

Meixing is the oldest living child of the Zheng family, and she is meant to inherit her family’s company when she’s old enough because her father’s sick. Zheng Xiuying passed away on her eleventh birthday, when the Zheng family went to muggle London to get accustomed to how things were around Europe since they had just moved from Asia. Xiuying had gotten into a fatal car crash by a drunk person that cause the parents to start thinking muggles were not as good as they thought they were before they’d killed their eldest daughter. Over the years, Meixing’s parents have been trying to instill their beliefs about muggles on Meixing and Ling Long but Meixing didn’t think they were that bad.
The purist views haven’t influenced Meixing. She could see how the muggle that killed her older sister was trying to make it up to her parents for years before she turned eleven and left to go to Hogwarts. This was a chance that Xiuying never had to take advantage of because she died too young, but Mei Xing will always believe that her older sister will be by her side no matter what. Her eyes landed on a sweet and adorable looking Slytherin that seemed he needed a friend to count on during his time in the school. She latched on to him and decided that she’d be his friend even if he didn’t acknowledge her as a friend. She’d just be there for him.
For almost three years, Meixing spent running around the halls of Hogwarts trying to get acquainted with any and all students trying to make all the friends she could. She avoided people that she knew had a tendency of being mean for no reason because she didn’t want to have any enemies or rivals. All she wanted was for there to be peace in the world and no more deaths caused by the magical community or muggle communities. Even if they are accidents, it’s always heartbreaking for someone to feel the loss of a person they were close to and she didn’t want anyone else to feel the lost of a sibling.

For whatever reason Elizabeth was forced to go to this ridiculous ball, maybe a year ago she would’ve actually enjoyed such a party, but in this situation it wasn’t the most entertaining. The blonde hadn’t even tried to dress up to impress this time, her red dress was plain. If it wasn’t for the boldness of the color, she doubted anyone would notice her walking into the Great Hall. Maybe she was wrong and just believed she could walk through the school without being noticed, but she could make it so she wasn’t recognizable if she wanted to, but what was the purpose of that now? She thought the reason she had been left behind had been to do something for her father, but he didn’t send her a letter or anything. It must’ve been a punishment or something so she wouldn’t be home for the holidays or maybe her mother had interfered again?
Whatever the reason was for her staying at the school, Elizabeth was deeply grateful for the break from everything she had to do at home. While it still felt like both a blessing and curse to be stuck at the school for the holidays, she shouldn’t be stuck on that when there was a party going on. The blonde had stopped by the drink table to grab a glass of punch before walking off to the side of the room. Dancing. That’s what these parties were all about and Lizzie was not someone that would get up and dancing in front of a crowd. What a ridiculous idea? She shouldn’t have even thought about coming to the ball. There was no point.
As the blonde turned to leave, her eyes landed on someone she didn’t recall from any previous years. He was far too old to be a first year, so her guess was that he was a transfer student. Elizabeth glanced at his outfit. He was different from all the stuffy pureblood students at the school, that was a given from the way he dressed to this formal event. Lizzie looked away and moved to walk past him. New kid or not, she wasn’t in the mood to entertain these festivities anymore. She might as well go back to her dorm room and settle in for the night.
