Students in their 7th year may opt to take a full credit internship where they go into the field they wish to work in and learn on the job. This will lessen the amount of training they will require after they graduate. EX: Auror training is 3 years, however, if you take an Internship at the Auror office you may have a shortened training period of 2 years instead of 3. You will be working with those workers in the area, please show us a thread of you doing your internship.

Criteria for Internship:
- You must have an active thread working alongside your Intern Instructor in order for the internship to count towards credit.
- If accepted into an Internship, you do not have to participate in classes as your character would be at "work."
- Failure to complete an Internship thread will result in failing the year.
- You must complete an actual thread (have the phrase End of Thread or various other renditions in the final post) to pass.
- In order to be accepted there must be a character working in the field you have chosen that agrees to be your instructor.
- You are permitted to reach out on your own to find an Intern Instructor. Should you find your own, please state so in your sign up.

Some potential careers in the Ministry include Alchemist, Potioneer, and Unspeakables with the Department of Mysteries, Aurors with the Department of Magical Law. Magizoologist with the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures

Some potential careers with st. Mungo's include Healers Mediwitches. Wizards, Welcome Witch/Wizard (like a dispatcher to send you to the right department). Potioneers, etc.

Some careers options in the shops include Fashion Designers, Clothing Makers, Wandmakers, Potioneers, Magizoologists, Bartenders, Cooks, Cashiers, etc.

Gringotts is also available for interns.

Some options are Bank Tellers, Cursebreakers, and Security. And you might learn Gobbledegook

Hogwarts is available for internships as well, since there are a lot of Professors, you will have to reach out to the Professor before signing up for the internship to ensure they are agreeable.
