Cade rolled his eyes as he stared up at her. So she was going to make him work for it. That was fine. He was like a dog with a bone when there was a goal involved. Her mention on other guys was soften a little by the distraction of her hand in his hair. She'd patted his head, even fixer it when they were in public but he'd never experience her combing her fingers through his hair. It was like a mini massege that set littling tingles down the size of his neck. He titled his head, wanting to lean into more all while wanting to pull away.

Closing one eye he considered her words. Maybe it was better he didn't know who it was. He could live with innocent crushes, but the moment he thought about her doing this with someone else he felt a little nauseous. "I don't know." He admitted. "You're always writing in it. And you make these faces... when your writting." He squinted at her. Usually he knew what was going on in her head but when she was writting he could only guess. In his mind he'd dreamed her up to be a little more innocent but the way she looked at him was hardly innocent. "Maybe don't tell. I know what I said earlier but I also know who I am. And I might cheat if it means ranking first in your book." A wolfish smile spilled onto his face and shrugged defeated. It probably wasn't a good thing that he was so willing but somehow pulling out all the stops didn't seem like losing.

He stared up at her for a moment. It was a terrible thing to think but he had every intention of ruining her. Even though they were young he was suddenly so sure he wanted to be the standard of what she expected from other boys for the rest of her life. "I'm taking you out next week and no I'm not telling you what we're doing. So you're gonna have to trust me."

"What do you mean I'm not in the book?" He face wrinkled with annoyance. As much as he always saw her scribbling in that stupid notebook? He hadn't been except to have chapters dedicated to him but a few honourable mentions would have been nice. He frown down at her full up questions. Like, what exactly did barely mean? And if he was only barely in it then who the hell was. Simon?

As Bonnie leaned closer he lost the little bit of irritation that had clouded his thoughts. "Yeah?" He faintly swayed into her call before checking himself. He was not kissing her tonight. "What?" He glanced down. Sure enough, he'd pinned her hair under him. Before he could move Bonnie nudge him back.

The night sky and Bonnie's face filled his vision. The slight brought him back to the lake. "What exactly does barely mentioned mean? And what are the qualifications or... benchmark it'll take to get more than a mention?" He couldn't help it. When he wasn't being a jerk he was task oriented and competitive. "Bonnie? Who else is in your book? Not gonna hunt anyone down...just want to know who's on the field." He raised a brow. He'd stole that book hundreds of times, but not once had it occurred to him that he wasn't in it.

Cade let out a little laugh. He wasn't perfect so he had a feeling she'd be beating the crap out of him sooner than later. As she pushed up towards him he thought Bonnie might make fun of him. Or turn him asking her into a joke, but as she pressed another kiss so close to his lips he knew he had to be doing something right. He fought back a prideful smile. He was going to have to work on that. He couldn't just crumble because she kissed him, or held his face. People we're going to start to think he was whipped.

"Nawh. I won't be late." He settled a little just looking at her. He should move. This was how rumors started in school but he didn't want to. He'd of course had his fun but nothing like this. Nothing so public or well gentle. His brow wrinkled and a bit of a shameful smirk graced his face when she mentioned other girls. He opened his mouth but got stuck between saying some entirely inappropriate and also reassuring. "Like more than a friend? So something you can write about in that notebook of yours? I like that deal. He leaned closer not caring what anyone saw anymore.

"You know I've never actually asked a girl out before. Definitely hung out but not a proper sit down...." He brought her hand back to his face. He liked that. "I guess you get one of my first. That's gotta be journal worthy." He narrowed his eyes as he looked down at her. If he was going to end up in that book he was make it's as blush worthy as possible.
