HISTORY
a brief history of your character (200 words)
Hangyeom was born to two purebloods but had turned out to be more of an accidental child than a wanted one. His parents had been in constant dispute and fights, trying to mediate with one another. They had no intention of having children together but it happened anyway. While growing up this caused issues for the boy, still known by another last name. None of this did him any good honestly, trying to stay away from the fights and the arguments when they thought he wasn't around. Hangyeom had no biological siblings and during the age of seven, they officially split. Their intent was to stay together long enough to carry their burden together until the father left to do his own thing. Mother, left behind with an unwanted boy, was rather annoyed and miserable but did try her best to make things work for the two of them.
His childhood was definitely without sunshine, flowers and rainbows, causing him to be turned more into himself and become more of a loner. At the young age of nine, he discovered magic, which was mostly random sparks and combustions of things as if he'd hit them with brain power or something. Not that it made much sense, not knowing how magic worked. Yes, his parents had shown magic, and while that all seemed normal, he'd never been able to do so himself. And then came his letters. His mother had opted to send him far away from here, even letting him stay during the holidays if possible. Hangyeom was better off over there, away from any potential harm.
Then came the Hwang family to gather their belongings, claiming ownership of this half-child with their name on it. But it was not just to join the ranks of the regular family, no. Hangyeom came into the hands of the adopted sister, Jin-ah Hwang, who had foreseen three children. The first was the boy, this boy, now claimed as her child (even though she was a vampire). Hangyeom became part of the family through paid-off fees and unofficial adoption, now bearing the name before he'd go to school. His actual mother? Well, she was no more, told that she didn't want him anymore and that they had taken him in.
The boy was sorted into Gryffindor, keeping a courageous shine to him while remaining somewhat solemn and alone still. It didn't matter to him honestly, simply waiting for the day to be dealt another card of the future given to him by his adoptive mother and father. For the time being, he studied, and got to hang with family members and other folk who didn't mind his quiet demeanour.

The step to getting away from everyone was by walking hard and fast with a good stride. Having cramps didn't help though, slowing down her pace just enough. With that she gained more annoyance at the pain, mentally punching herself in the gut. Nothing helped, really.
Nonetheless, she'd reached one of the towers soon enough though getting up those stairs felt like pure hell. Even her leg muscles cramped because she wanted to walk so much faster, hindering her. At some point the girl stopped, putting a hand on the wall to support herself and just take a deep breath.
The nerves rushed through her, not even aware that Sung-jin had called her until it was too late. Artemis heard the footsteps somewhere behind but hadn't turned to check yet, figuring they'd just pass by quietly and let her be. Inside her head she cursed, leaning her back against the wall to catch her breath and finding her eyes falling on Sung-jin just briefly. "Shit," She cursed, though mostly to herself.
Artemis attempted to avert her gaze away, her back to him again and continued her walk towards the closest tower, slipping inside of it. There was no way he hadn't spotted her getting inside of it since she was being a cramped slowpoke.
