What is an RP Buddy?
An RP buddy is someone who volunteers to thread with new members and help them get acclimated to the site. They are the person that member can go to while they are getting started and getting familiar with the site.

RP Buddies are assigned to any new member who requests one.

Once an RP Buddy has been assigned, they are required to make the first contact with new members. Do not rely on the new member to come to you. You're job is to make them feel welcome and help them in getting their character off the ground from applications to building plots and storylines and being that first line of RPing for them so they can get their feet wet in our fascinating world.

How do you become an RP Buddy?
Reply to this thread and you will be added to the list of possibly RP buddies. Each new member will be allowed to select their own buddy off the list, and if they don't have a preference, they will be assigned someone in a rotation so everyone gets a chance.

Please do not sign up to be an RP Buddy if you are not active. To be considered active, you must be regularly posting at least once a week with one of your characters and logging in regularly. It is not fair to a new member to get an RP buddy who seldom logs on and therefore might miss their questions. * You will be removed if you are not active.

How do you get an RP Buddy?
Easy! If you are a new member, reply to this thread and request an RP Buddy. You can select one of the members listed or one of them will be assigned to you at random. And then you wait for them to reach out to you.
