CHILDHOOD. | Erika Toda was born to wonderful parents, comes from witches and wizards on her mother's side and her father is from a family of muggles, he is the only wizard out of his siblings. Her father works as an Auror for the Ministry of Magic and her mother stayed at home, when her father became an adult, his parents move to Japan, along with one of her aunts and it made her sad to be so far away, she would visit her grandparents when she was little, she knew her parents are a witch and wizards, and really hoped that she is a witch too. She was kind of worried that she might not be one, since her father is the only wizard in his family and one of her uncles from her mother’s side was an Auror, one day she found out that he had died on the job, it made her rethink her wanted to be an Auror like her dad and uncle. Her mother told her that she was going to be a big sister and got really happy about it, all of sudden a glass floated in the air, when she got really excited about being a big sister and that was when she knew, she is also a witch. Her mother ended up having another girl, glad to have a sibling now and loved having a sister. After finding out that she is a witch, knew she would be going to Hogwarts just like her parents did and couldn't wait to be old enough to attend the school. When she was finally eleven years old, got her Hogwarts letter and was really excited about attending the school and a month before she left for school, her grandmother on her mom's side died and attended the funeral two days before she boarded the Hogwarts Express. |
YEAR 01. | She was really nervous about her first year there, after arriving at Hogwarts, she got sorted into Ravenclaw House and she was excited to be at the same school her parents had attended, liked most of the classes, that she had taken in her first year. She made a few friends with her housemates, also with some people in different houses and one of her classes that she liked was Charms, found she is good at it. One of the classes that she was taking was flying class, she ended up falling off her broom and breaking her arm, that was when she found out that she was scared of heights. She liked learning about stuff that she didn’t already know about magic and hanging out with her new friends. She did pretty well in her classes and her exams, her first year ended well. |
YEAR 02. | She was excited about a new year at Hogwarts, couldn't wait to see how her second year would turn out and really liked transfiguration, also history of magic. Had made a couple of more friends in her year, one girl in her house became her best friend and hung out a lot with each other. She also really liked Quidditch, enjoyed watching the matches and did like her classes, one of the classes that she didn't like was potions. She did a little better in them and during the term, she found out her baby sister was very sick and in the hospital. So, she got to visit her sister for a few days and returned to school, when her sister had gotten better. She continued to try her best in her classes, got pretty good grades and did well on her exams, though she had a good second year at school. |
YEAR 03. | Another new school year, her younger sister had started her first year at Hogwarts, also ended up in the same house as her and was excited to see her friends. She would study, hang out with her friends, look out for her sister and had gotten interested in boys. She was thinking about becoming an Auror like her father, decided to start taking the classes you would need to be an Auror and knew she had time to think it over and kept trying her best in her classes and hanging out with friends. She left the year in a good mood, did well in her classes and was confident she did well on her exams. |
YEAR 04. | She came into the school year, still thinking about being an Auror and took the classes that you need to be one, was also thinking of a backup plan and at some point in the term, found out that her sister was being bullied by some students and stood up to them, treating to tell one of the professors on them. Went back to looking out for her sister, had her first crush on a guy who is in the same year ahead of her and became friends with him. In the middle of the year, her sister and she found out that their mother was going to have another baby and was excited about having another sibling. Spent the rest of the year, studying, spending time with friends and keeping an eye on her sister and flirting with boys. |
YEAR 05. | She was really happy to be back at school, started thinking about not wanting to be an Auror anymore and still taking the classes you needed to be an Auror. Her sister had joined the house quidditch team, was really happy for her and cheered her on at the matches. She started dating a guy, who was in a different from house than her and is in the same year. She also tried to think of a different career she would want to pursue as a career, kept her mind on her classes, hanging out with her friends and boyfriend, keeping on her sister. She really liked her care of magical creatures, found them really interesting and her favorite creature is Hippogriff. Thought maybe a job where she could work with magical creatures, it was something to think about. Before the end of the year, she and her boyfriend had broken up, went home with a broken heart. |

RP SAMPLE (200 words min.)
Erika Tode walked to the common room, saw some of her housemates who are also in the room and didn't see her brother at all, figured that he must be at Quidditch practice since they have a match coming up. She went to the couch that was in the room, glad that no one else was sitting there and now she can lay out on it. She sat down, brought her legs up on the couch and lays them out in front of her, did bring one of her favorite books with her. It was one that she hasn't read in a long time, thought it was a good time to read it again and she had already done her schoolwork. She opens up her book, sets it on her stomach and starts reading it, as she is reading and thought to herself that she forgot how good this book is. She was glad that she decided to read it today, to refresh her memory about it and to experience it again. After a few minutes, she had reached the third page of the book and turns to the next page. She stops reading for a second, wonders how her brother's practice is going right now and knew she can ask him when he is back at the dorms.
An hour later, she had finished reading the second chapter and now starting on the next one. She looks around the room, saw that there are a few more of her housemates in the room now and goes back to her book. As she reaches the third page in the third chapter, when she looks up and saw her brother walk into the room, calls out to him. He goes over to her, asked him how practice went today and he told her that is fine. She couldn't wait for the match, since she doesn't play it well that she was happy with just watching Quidditch. Her brother says to her, that he is changing clothes and then going to the library to do some of his schoolwork. Before he leaves, tells him that she will see him later and he nods his head, then walks away.
She leans back against the armrest of the couch, goes back to reading her book and brings up one of her legs, leans her book against her leg. After she reads a few pages, looks to see what time it was and decided to stop reading at the page that she was at, read some more tomorrow. After she did some studying, homework and take a nap in the girl's dorm room after that. She continued laying out on the couch, moves her hair out of her face and looks to see if any of her friends are in the room, didn't see them. She thought they may be studying or somewhere in the castle doing whatever. She was so relaxed on the couch, that she didn't feel like getting up and looking for them.
