CHILDHOOD. | On January 7th, 2002, after a seven-year gap, Henrik became the second child to Warwick and Kaori Kingsley. Like his brother, Izanna, he came into the world in their hometown of Moss, Norway. This small wizarding community hidden away from Muggles was perfect for Henrik as it meant he could fly brooms, with supervision, of course, often trailing after his older brother when he was home or teasing his baby brother when he got the chance.
When Izanna went off to Durmstrang, he was only two years old. Despite Izzy only being a day student, he missed his older sibling and often had to entertain himself until he came home. So when his brother became a full-time student Henrik, at four years old, found himself toddling around the house, getting into things or making a mess of the shop. A year later, little Altair came along, and he had a new thing to distract him, teaching his brother things the best he could.
From five years old he grew into a fearless force of nature. When he was seven, for instance, he climbed the biggest tree he could find and promptly jumped from it with 'wings' he had made from sticks and leaves. This went about as well as one would think, and it was incredibly lucky that his magic decided to reveal itself. After bouncing to a halt, he was lectured about his actions despite it doing little to deter him from similar acts of daring. At nine and ten he was a day student at Durmstrang.

YEAR 01. | These traits are what got him sorted into Gryffindor when he was eleven years old. Honestly, he was quite disappointed when he found out he would not be going to Durmstrang full-time, as he had indeed gone as a day student there before this. Regardless he adjusted well to his new school and made a few friends of Pureblood origins.
|
YEAR 02. | By his second year he was excited to go to school, knowing he could now play Quidditch for his house if he were good enough to make the team. He tried out and missed his opportunity simply because there were older, more experienced students applying. This was alright as he got to practice with them anyway and could focus on classes to be better next year.
|
YEAR 03. | This year, he was able to take some electives and chose Advanced Flying as well as Divination so that he could get an easy EE, and Ancient Runes. This last one was just to appease his mother that he was applying himself in at least one extracurricular. He would never admit that he kind of finds it fun. To everyone's shock, he did well in all his lessons despite complaining about missing out on the house team. His complaints were at least sated by trips to Hogsmeade.
|
YEAR 04. | In his fourth year, he again missed his chance to be on the house team and dragged his feet through the majority of his classes. He wrote to Izanna shortly after being eliminated from the tryouts to ask his older brother if he had any pointers he could give, or if he'd help him train when the summer holiday came around again. Otherwise, he had an okay year, hanging with his friends and ignoring the majority of wallflower-type students along the way.
|
YEAR 05. | This year, he had to buckle down to pass his OWLs. Unable to play for his house team for another year running, he threw himself into learning advanced manoeuvres on his own. He did his utmost to be top of the Advanced flying class and fell embarrassingly short of that goal. Still, he did well in his OWLs, only getting one T in Divination, a couple of A's and the rest EE and the one O he needed for flying. He didn't feel too terrible about his grades here; they set him up nicely for his sixth year.
Henrik's main issue this year was his cousin going missing and having to worry what was happening. Not only to his family but to some of the students disappearing. He might think himself better because he is a Pureblood but he never wanted to see his half-blood or Muggleborn peers to be harmed. School was not quite the same because of the disappearances and he pestered both his Professors and his parents in his attempts to find out what was being done.

YEAR 06.
| This year was going to be his year if it was the last thing he did. He had to do well to catch the attention of a scout or at least do well enough to be able to join a team tryout after school. He took only classes he needed for a Quidditch career or those necessary to work in his family's broom business. He wanted very much to be able to do both if he could. Now that he's nearing the end of his sixth year, he is certain he will do well on his NEWTs. Now, it was just a matter of subbing in for Gryffindor in the hopes his skill would catch someone's eye.
