CHARACTER APPLICATION
 | ALUNE HARTHORNE 13 July 18th, 2005 HUFFLEPUFF 2ND YEAR STUDENT pureblood bath, ENGLAND | PERSONALITY: Colorful, worried for her brother and mother, trying to be the big sister and strong, doesn't like to be held back, missing a father figure in her life, has a lot of love to give to her family and maybe friends, likes being around people, pretends there's nothing wrong ever LIKES/DISLIKES: Likes: Flowers, learning new magic and other related things of interest, likes to read, likes dancing (not the formal kind), likes elegant dance and sports, taking a stroll, seeing happiness. Also loves horseriding. Dislikes: Being away from her mother and brother, having no father in her life, feeling like she needs to do things by herself, too many emotions that come with the situations, failing or being a quietter ASPIRATIONS: she doesn't have much of an aspiration yet but something she would hope for is reuniting her family, becoming a ballet dancer or perhaps a fencer, would like to travel the world as well. |

a brief history of your character (200 words)
Alune is English and Korean but knows little to no Korean to begin with. She bears her mother's last name Hart and is well raised in England too, along with her brother. She's always been a nice and caring child, always trying to help her mother in the household and be of help to her brother. It kind of felt like a quicker grow-up, despite being so young. Mrs Harthorne wasn't struggling by any means that she showed but the children could tell things were wrong between their father and mother. Often Alune and her brother would go play outside instead, to avoid any fights or things they shouldn't be part of. The two of them always went to the little animal meadow in the area where they could pet the goats and run around with chickens. The people who volunteered there always welcomed the two kids, letting them help out and hang about. At some point Alune was ready to go to Hogwarts, leaving behind her brother and mother for the time being.
During her first year at Hogwarts, there was so much that wowed and overwhelmed her. Nonetheless, it was quite an interesting year where she got to explore Hogwarts with other first years in their attempt to find the Chamber of Secrets with a group of first and second years. Of course, they hadn't been successful but it was quite a fun experience nonetheless. She hopes to come out of her shell a little more during her second year, as well as learn a bunch of cool things of course.

"Well, my father doesn't approve of my hair colour anyway, nor does my brother.." They'd repeatedly scolded her for it, telling her to either cut it off or just dye it back another colour as soon as possible. She was lucky she wasn't dragged to a hair salon or something. "I don't disagree." Though Vivían disliked Kai for other reasons than 'being intimidating'. "You know, if I manage to not be chained to my room and run away from home I'll be sure to think of you and your family first," Vivían said with a smile. Not that she'd manage to break out. What was she going to do? Pull up a suitcase and walk away?
Robin presented Vivían with words of things she did not have. He was right, her gaze confused while he spoke of the internet, continuing to list what was on it. And from around the world at that! She couldn't even slightly imagine it, trying to think how that worked. She wasn't allowed to join muggle class, missing out on things. She wasn't going to say it out loud but she was curious. "That sounds.. interesting!" Was a pretty neutral way of putting it, despite some curiosity shown.
Vivían half-gasped in surprise at Robin's tension build-up, then actually surprised at a pygmy puff. "A pygmy puff? Just what was it doing in the greenhouses?" Vivían quietly wondered while they walked to the castle.
Then she heard a sound, a light appearing from somewhere. Briefly, she froze, her eyes locked on the light that came closer. Someone was coming! "Oh no," She whispered to Robin, "Someone's coming! Run, run!" She tried to keep her voice hushed while pushing the boy to run, quickly taking off herself and hoping she wouldn't trip over her own feet, at least not until they managed to get out of the sight of whoever it might've been.
