That is his only aspiration. CHILDHOOD. | While Sav technically wasn’t the first born child to his parents since his twin sister Priya came out first, he was treated in every way like the oldest. He was the first, and only boy, which meant the MacMillan name fell on him. It was a lot of pressure. So much pressure in fact that he wasn’t sure he’d ever be able to bear it.
He saw how his parents treated him and his sister differently growing up. He saw the pressure they put on her to stay still and act perfect while he was encouraged to go out and play with other pureblood kids his age. He was encouraged to run around and be active and make friends while she was kept in the house all day being taught various skills to a much higher degree than he was. He attended the etiquette lessons and reading lessons, but after that, he would take lessons on finance and politics while she was rushed off to take music and art lessons. He asked once why they weren’t doing the same things and his mother had told him that they had different things expected of them and thus needed to be trained differently. It wasn’t until he was older that he understood what she meant. Priya was being raised as the perfect wife for any pureblood man. She’d be expected to marry well and make political alliances for the family. He was being raised as the heir, despite being the younger twin.
The first time he got onto a broom was a magical experience, literally and emotionally. He was a natural. It was like the broom was an extension of himself. It was like his brain was linked with whatever magic the broom had it in and the two of them move fluidly without hesitation. He flew to the point of recklessness. His bravery had first come out on a broom. He didn’t mind flying high, or fast. He loved the adrenaline of taking sharp turns and dodging obstacles.

SCHOOL YEARS. | If learning to ride a broom was the best day of Sav’s life, his first day at Hogwarts was the second best. He had his twin sister by his side and for the first time in their lives they were kind of free. At school they didn’t have the same pressures and expectations on them that they did at home. In fact, he quickly adopted a “what happens at Hogwarts stays at Hogwarts” mindset regarding his own actions, and whatever he saw or heard of Priya doing.
While his twin tended to stay on the expected path, Sav ventured off of it in ways that he was sure would make his parents' heads spin. The first time he ended up in detention he was sure that his dad would pull him from school and enroll him somewhere with more strict punishment. However, he laughed it off, insisting “boys would be boys” and to Sav’s surprise, his parents rarely gave him a hard time about anything he did wrong. He saw the reverse for his sister and during his younger years it still surprised him. Now he was numb to it. It was the world they were born into, he supposed. Priya never complained, maybe she didn’t mind it. Or maybe it was just easier to think she didn’t so that he didn’t have to think about it too hard.
While Sav loved being at school he certainly didn’t love school itself. In Fact he did so poorly that he only achieved OWLs in about half of his subjects. Receiving those grades was the first time he really saw disappointment in his fathers eyes while addressing him. But what did he need academics for when his future was in Quidditch? His parents were less than pleased with his career prospects. His father wanted some high paying, secure career for his son so that they’d be respected. Wouldn’t he be respected as a Quidditch player? Wouldn’t that give him fame and fortune like any ministry job? Sav had never gone against his parents wishes before, but this was a dream he wasn’t going to give up.
So getting ready to go into his 6th year at Hogwarts, the Gryffindor kid hoped to get his spot back on the Quidditch team and continue refining his skills. With the end of his Hogwarts years in sight, Sav wants to make the most of his time in the castle. He wants to live his teen years to the fullest and have fun while out from under his parents thumb. And maybe he’ll try to get Priya to do the same.

RP SAMPLE (200 words min.)
She asked if Quidditch was helping him get girls and sav laughed, “I don’t need help getting girls.” she teased with a smirk. But yes, being Quidditch captain did certainly help him get a little more attention when it came to members of the opposite sex. He was sure when he went professional it would only get worse, which he was, of course, fully prepared for. As much as Sav loved Hogwarts, he was excited to graduate and get to meet new people. Maybe that was why he loved that there were exchange students here this year and the last. He loved getting to meet new people, and not just to flirt with a new face. He just felt like eventually he’d need to find The One, but he certainly hadn’t found her yet, he was almost sure. “You’re welcome to if you want - though you might get some weird looks from your fellow Slytherins.” he laughed.
“Yeah just about everyone here is fairly nice.” he nodded when she explained how she was faring so far at Hogwarts. It wasn’t too hard to fit in here, especially not with all the people, there was bound to be someone for everyone so that no one ever felt too left out of anything that they wanted to do. “Any young men catching your eye?” he asked, giving her a wink as he did. She handed him the box and he looked it over before he decided to just be brave and pull the lid off. When he did so, a large, black spider crawled out and jumped from his hand, down to the floor and under a chair nearby. “Maybe we should check under there.” he suggested.
