I often have ideas of characters whose life spawn will be short but would have a cool impact on site plot anc character development. But because I'm on 9 characters the threshold is not worth it for a temporary character whose only job is to get involved in a plot and then die. So I had a suggestion;

Allow people to create temporary characters or npcs

-Have a shortened app with just a brief description of who they are 25 words is enough
-have a clear plot purpose written on that app
-only allowed to participate in threads that move that plot forward and group threads if it's important that more characters are aware of this character
-have to complete their purpose within 9 months and will be deleted after that
-people are allowed to just have 1 temporary character at the time
-if they use a face that a player wants for their character they'll have to give it up

This way people can be more eager to commit to risky plots without having to delete their main characters.

If a person ends up falling in love with the temporary character and wants to keep them, they can do a proper app which has to confirm by the usual rules of activity etc. but this is ofc discouraged as it defeats the purpose of temporary characters
