Thank you all for a great term! We had some bumps along the way but we survived, and most of us are still here to talk about it.

We want to remind everyone to familiarize themselves with the rules on site as well as the Terms of Service (ToS) for using Proboards as we have had to remind members and it's always an uncomfortable position to be like "Hey! ToS, don't do that crap!" We're always open to suggestions to improve the rules whether it's language, new rules, etc. Don't be shy.

We try our best to maintain confidentiality and transparency with our members and ensure the site is user-friendly. We expect the same from our members. We don't want members gossiping about each other because eventually, it does get back to that person and it's not a nice feeling. If there are problems, please try to discuss them with those involved and don't involve those who don't need to be involved. It doesn't help.

INH is PG13. If you are unsure, movies like Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Forest Gump, Mean Girls and Titanic are some guides.

Some material may be inappropriate for children under 13. A PG-13 motion picture may go beyond the PG rating in theme, violence, nudity, sensuality, language, and adult activities, but does not reach the restricted R category. Any drug use will require at least a PG-13 rating. More than brief nudity will require at least a PG-13 rating. There may be depictions of violence, but generally not both realistic and extreme or persistent violence. The single use of one of the harsher sexually derived words, though only as an expletive, requires at least a PG-13 rating.

Please ensure your content is safe for anyone 13+ otherwise we risk Proboards shutting our site down. We also have some other rules and guidelines in place for the vulnerable population like children and pregnant women on site stating that they cannot be put into dangerous, life-threatening situations. Please adhere to these and if you have reason to think a member is pushing the limits, please contact an admin.

Henceforth we are implementing some new rules.

NAMING CHARACTERS!
"We respect individuality and with the vast number of first and last names available, we ask that members ensure they are not using names already taken. We understand that there are multiple John's or Sarah's in the world and it's unrealistic to presume there will not be some duplicates therefore we will be allowing a max of 2 characters sharing the same first name. The only exception to this is in the event there is a family name such as Chadwick Davis Kingsley. The one on site now is "The Third" if someone were to pick up his father and grandfather, we would permit three Chadwicks on site. Admins will be checking this when accepting applications and you may be asked to change your character's first name."

USE OF AI!
"We encourage members to use whatever means are available to them to help improve their writing skills, however, if we have reason to suspect applications are being written by AI, they will be denied immediately.

Should we find members utilizing AI in their posting without proofreading and editing it themselves, they will be issued a warning. Continued use will result in action being taken by the admin team. The site is meant for writing but the use of AI to write for your characters is not acceptable and completely changes the vibe of your creation.

AI is acceptable to help inspire ideas, create writing prompts, generate thread titles and news, you can use if to generate musical lyrics and inspirational quotes even, but to write your character replies and applications is NOT acceptable."

Pending Applications! we are adding a specific deadline for pending applications. The deadline will be 3 weeks following the application being posted - this is the same deadline as W.I.P applications.

We have now officially transitioned into our new timeline. This means that summer (July/Aug) will last the month of July and the new school term will begin on August 1. Please review the dates in the rules.
