Artemis Hei-Ran Kang is a single child, spoiled filthy by her pureblood mother and raised to rely on herself. On the surface, she seems cold-hearted and only cares for her grades, prefers not to help others at all or acts short with them and only looks to see herself at the top. Deep down she can care for someone, preferring not to show it in favour of emotions being in the way of her goals. Her father has left them at a young age, leaving her mother in shambles at the time. Her mother, who's fled to England, far away from her home, has managed to raise Artemis all by herself. Artemis now feels she must carry on that burden, trying to take care of her mother and make her proud, be a strong woman and come out on top. She tries to learn wherever she can at her own expense, often forgetting the idea of a friendship. So far during her school years, she's never made a true friend, mostly unable to tolerate the majority of students for breaking her silence too quickly. Her goal is to get out of school with the best grades she can manage, get a great paying job and pay back her mother in return.


She's never been a great romantic, unable to find anyone willing to stick by her. She's not too socialable thus unable to make quite the friend she'd need. While this is all fair in her mind, somewhere along the lines Artemis's mother hopes to get a son-in-law, someone to break that front and ice. Plus, she expects grandchildren of course. Athena doesn't join parties, does almost nothing for fun with others and would be considered hard-to-get, cold and making sure to keep distance. The one person she cares for is her mother, making sure to protect her, make her proud and do well.

Now that she's a fifth year though, some things seem to become a little more interesting but Artemis is keen on keeping her distance and let no boy get in her path.

"Yeah definitely," Ki-han said, agreeing. He'd like for the warmer weather to come out just so he could stop dressing in extra layers. His warm temperature was already starting to cool down a bit, the sweat attempting to escape him. "I know it helps but I need a deep tissue massage." Just for extra effect. "I'm sure the sun will show up sooner than later, and stick with us." Or so he hoped. The sooner the better! "Yeah you're probably right," He figured she was right about the infirmary and the lack of massages. They had better things to do than massage a student's sore shoulder. Maybe he should just get someone to do it for him instead?

"I sure hope they'll let everyone watch when the match happens," Ki-han laughed, "It wouldn't be as exciting if no one was allowed." Kind of pointless too, just playing for fun without any gratification or reward? The fun they had with training already. "It's okay. I know you'll quietly cheer for me too." He rose a closed fist "Fighting!" As Koreans would say to cheer up or on. "Were you going anywhere? Or were you just heading out to the quidditch area?"
