Mystery of His Father’s Disappearance
Arcturus is determined to uncover the truth behind his father, Theodon’s sudden disappearance, just before his first year at Hogwarts. He spends several hours each week in the Hogwarts library, delving into books on magical forensics to gain the knowledge he needs for his search. He hopes to retrace his father’s steps one day and solve the enigma that has haunted his family for years.

Explore and Uncover Unknown Realms
Inspired by his grandfather Alaric's tales of magical cartography to parts unknown, Arcturus aspires to carve his legacy as an explorer of the unknown. He dreams of venturing into uncharted magical realms, uncovering hidden histories, and documenting the wonders and dangers that lie beyond the wizarding world.

Master the Arcane and Forbidden
Arcturus’s fascination with the dark arts and the macabre drives him to master the obscure and forbidden branches of magic. He dreams of one day publishing a modern compendium of rare and dangerous spells, artifacts, and creatures, establishing himself as an expert in the dark arts within the wizarding community. This goal not only satisfies his thirst for knowledge and passion for the dark arts but also serves to educate witches and wizards on how to protect themselves against these formidable forces.

FAMILY MEMBERS.	Alaric Ashford, the grandfather of Arcturus and his siblings, is 64 years old and a retired magical cartographer for the Ministry of Magic. He resides with his daughter Evenlyn and grandson Lysander in a community on the outskirts of London. Evelyn Bellamy (nee. Ashford), Arcturus’s mother, is 42 years old and runs a small apothecary on the outskirts of London. She is a Hogwarts graduate and previously worked as a herbologist in the private sector before opening her shop, The Green Witch. Lysander Bellamy, Arcturus’s older brother, is 22 years old and a Hogwarts graduate from Slytherin House. He recently failed his Auror training and is now working with his mother at her shop until he can retake his Auror placement test next year. Marigold "Mari" Bellamy, Arcturus' younger sister, is 14 years old and currently in her third year at Hogwarts. She was placed in Hufflepuff House and enjoys the competitive duelling scene. Callista Bellamy, Arcturus' youngest sister, is 11 years old and has begun her first year at Hogwarts as a Gryffindor student. Callista has been described by her family to be the most like her father, Theodon, jumping into situations without a plan. Theodon Bellamy, Arcturus' father, was 35 when he went missing. His whereabouts are currently unknown, and local magical authorities consider his disappearance to be suspicious. He was last seen communicating with a cloaked figure outside the entrance of Diagon Alley on a hot summer night in August 2013.
