"Better not be." She teased a bit more. Why did the desire for this to be come so much more continue to grow in her chest? It was setting them both up for disaster, she was sure of it. How could something that felt so right sit in their lap undisturbed and without consequence? She wouldn't overthink on that for the evening. Let the fear come another day because all she could see in the moment was the hope in his eyes. Her free hand wrapped around, hand resting around his side as if asking him to stay so close to her. Not only was he warm, but he warmed something in her core. "You're obsessed with being the leading man in my little book aren't you?" She could have leaned up only an inch or two and kissed him with how close he was. "You're barely mentioned" She boldly lied.

When he moved closer it took every bit of her sanity to keep from showing the panic on her face. Not really panic, maybe anticipation. He kept saying he wasn't going to kiss her yet but her body almost screamed out, begging for it. "This might be notebook worthy." Her thumb ran over his jaw. "Maybe my thoughts would be even more notebook worthy." She teased, knowing he would probably die if he knew what she was thinking at the moment. Her eyes ran down to his lips, her teeth biting down on her own. Forcing herself to lookback at his eyes, she leaned up a hair closer. "Cade?" She whispered, eyeing him gently. "Your elbow is on my hair." Grinning, she turned her head to show him where. As soon as it was free, she had him pushed back onto his back, her chest paying on his as her hand stayed on his face.

Of course out of everything Bonnie had just said, he clung onto her joke about not being the main character in her book. It was such a comical joke to her considering he took up at least one spot on every page of her life. His name, likeness and personality was permanent ink in her little notebook and in her life. How could he not know that? Well, what was the harm in letting him carry that thought on a little longer? She could see him working through the surprise in his mind while only made her want to keep it going more.

As she looked down at him, she saw the gears still turning and the questions swimming to the surface. " You have to be memorable silly." Again, he filled nearly every page in her book. He was more than memorable. "Or just do something interesting. I don't know. Maybe juggle a few mandrakes while staying afloat in the lake." or take me for a swim after the ball and look at me in ways that i haven't been looked at before. that night filled up multiple pages. "Hmmm?" She hummed in response to her name. Her fingers had found their way up to his hair, winding and curling pieces casually around her fingers. "Oh just a few boys." Was he jealous? Yes. He was jealous and it was adorable. "Would you like me to run through the pages and list everyones names and add tally marks to see who wins?" Cade. Cade won every time. "Why do you want to be in my non sense little book?"
