Basic History: (min. 100 words)

Sebastien has had a rough life. It all started on his birth. His mother tried to convince his father that he'd died in childbirth so she wouldn't have an ugly custody battle with Lucien. When that didn't work, she tried to disappear with Sebastien and succeeded for a few years by being constantly on the move so Lucien couldn't find her. Unfortunately, when Sebastien was three, his mother brought him to a magical carnival but didn't keep a close eye on him. Sebastien wandered off, as any distracted three year old might. The carnival took place on a full moon and one of the attractions was the werewolf. One escaped and tried to make Sebastien it's meal.

Sabrina lost custody of Sebastien temporarily. He got to live with his father, Lucien, and his new wife who was expecting. The custody war had begun. Sabrina wanted Sebastien. She took the steps she needed to prove she could care for her son properly, especially now with his condition. She won back shared custody and eventually fought hard enough to prove that Lucien's wife was a danger to her son and got sole custody of Sebastien again. Lucien was given visitation rights.

Sebastien hated living with his mother. She was involved in a lot of shady business. She used him relentlessly as a scapegoat and even let him out during full moons to "take care of people." Sebastien was never given Wolf's Bane and has no idea how many lives he has destroyed on the full moon. He tried to run away to his father's many times but always ended up back with his mom. He's been incredibly unhappy right up until attending Hogwarts.

Sebastien couldn't believe the difference a full moon with Wolf's Bane was compared to what he was used to. His entire world was changed by that one potion the school's potion master gave him and the other few kids. He thought he might actually be able to have a normal life if he could just get away from his mother.

In her rush to save the man who had fallen into the water, Janie had not put the clues together. Nor had she recognized the face she sent up the rope to her brother. Instead, she'd been focused on his rescue and getting herself out of the water before the temperature froze them both to an icy doom. Shivering, Janie hugged herself and rushed ashore. She kept moving because she knew the cold was going to make her tired and if she stopped she'd die. At the gangplank, Janie picked up the bag and carried it across with her. She arrived just in time to hear her brother speak a name she was familiar with.

"S-surprise?" The girl chattered as Nanny June wrapped a blanket around her wet shoulders. She couldn't say much more when Huan asked if they could go inside and immediately Nanny June was ushering everyone into the boat. As Janie warmed up, she was able to talk easier. "You should have let us know," she informed Huan, not that she wasn't glad to see her friend. "We could have warned you about the entrance."

"Ignore here," Joey encouraged him, and Janie rolled her eyes. "What are you doing here?!"
