31 1 JULY 1989 HOGWARTS HERBOLOGY PROFESOR ILVERMORNY GRADUATE HALFBLOOD HOGWARTS | PERSONALITY: Keanu is a rugged guy that doesn't take life too seriously. He's rebellious by nature, and rather free spirited, always down for a good time. Keanu enjoys letting loose, having fun, but does take pride in the work he does. When assigned something to do, he will see it through to the end, and doesn't like to half-ass things. Down to earth. The man loves to eat, drink and be merry. He can be rather protective, and tends to be quite 'stereotypically masculine', enjoying the rougher side of things, and despising formal events, being forced to dress up and fall in line. Perhaps because of his upbringing, Keanu loves the outdoors and nature, and this is where his love for herbology blossomed. A Brief History. | Keanu was born on the island of O'ahu, in Hawai'i. He was your stereotypical island kid- down at the beach every day, living off of poke and fresh fruit, and generally not taking things too seriously. His father was a muggle, mother a witch, and it was very exciting for him to go to school at Ilvermorny. It was a big change for the boy, who'd never been to the mainland before, but he loved every part of it. In particular, he always enjoyed being outdoors, and had an affinity for herbology even at a young age. After graduation, Keanu spent several years in the states completing training to be a herbologist, before returning back home to Hawai'i. He always enjoyed being around children, so it wasn't a surprise when he transitioned into a teaching role in Hawai'i, at the (admittedly small) local magic school. He enjoyed it, but after working there for years, felt like some change and variety might be fun, which is why he applied to Hogwarts when he saw the open position. He's now just relocated, and will be interested to see how this corner of the world treats him. |
