There was a time when she would just agree to do anything that was mentioned because she knew it was the right thing to do, but she’s not a pushover anymore. Working with students for so many years has helped her build up her ability to stand on her own without being the docile young girl she’d once been known as when she was a student. She has had the best in mind for the students from the moment she began her career as a professor, and Stella hopes to continue to nurture their young minds for as long as she can. A Brief History. | Stella, originally named Yingyue when she was born, was raised in a traditional Pureblood family. She was raised to be polite, generous, poised, pretty much anything a young Pureblood girl was supposed to be like, and she accepted it for so many years. It was nice being catered to every day whenever she needed something, having the house elves was fun for her. Whenever she was bored and her parents were too busy for her, Yingyue would busy herself with learning how to cook and do things with the house elves. She had a wonderful childhood, even began going to Mahoutokoro when she was old enough to start attending as a daytime student. However, though her life was very lavish for some time, when her parents began mentioning something about an arranged marriage, Yingyue found herself running from home, the summer before her last year at school. Instead of using her Chinese name, she began going by her English middle name so it was harder for her parents to find her. During the summer, Stella had to get used to the idea of being around muggles so that she could make it less likely for them to find her. She was seventeen years old, used magic to herself a quick job in a restaurant bar without questions asked. Back at school for her final year, she changed her custom to use her English name back to being known by her Chinese again, making it easier for her professors. However, after graduation, she completely dropped her Chinese name and start going by her English name, even as she began working as an assistant professor for the Transfiguration professor, soon moving on to Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts before she took over for professor in the DADA classroom. Now, Stella found herself wanting to get back to her root subject after transferring to Hogwarts to become the new Transfiguration Professor for the 2020-2021 term. |
