FOURTEEN JULY 20TH STUDENT HUFFLEPUFF 5TH YEAR PUREBLOOD SOUTH FRANCE
| PERSONALITY: Vivienne is an emotional rollercoaster. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and is fiercely loyal. That being said, she takes it to heart when she feels like her friends or family isn't showing her the same level of caring and compassion that she shows them. If she feels like she's been betrayed, even in the smallest of ways, it can send her into a whirlwind of emotion. Aside from her closest friends, Viv doesn't go outside of her comfort zone when it comes to people. Preferring the company of her cat, rather than the company of a crowd. She's not opposed to new friends, but she isn't going to seek them out intentionally either. She is perfectly content with her little circle staying small.
ASPIRATION: Viv wants to open her own greenhouse. She loves being with nature and growing things in the garden. | LIKES: - Herbology - Rainy Days - Flying - Honesty - Napping
DISLIKES: - Betrayal - Losing Things - Feeling Vulnerable - Dueling/Fighting - Lying |
FAMILY MEMBERS. | Jean Chevalier. Father. Employed at the French Ministry. Juliette Chevalier. Mother. Homemaker. Gabriel Chevalier. Older brother. Beauxbatons 10th Year. |
CHILDHOOD. | From the time Vivienne was born, she was thrown into a world of high end French society. Along with her older brother, she was raised to walk tall and carry herself with a level propriety that rivaled royalty. For the most part, Viv enjoyed the lavish life that she was raised in and followed her mother around acting just like her. That was great for a while, but around the age of six, Viv started to pull away from her mother growing annoyed with her controlling how she acted all the time. Even though she lived a posh life, Viv was like any other child. She played with her dollhouse, stole cookies from the pantry, got in trouble for not acting ladylike in every situation, and found solace in the garden and greenhouses of their family estate. She had cousins and friends from neighboring wealthy households that she would play with, but primarily she followed the heel of her brother around the manor. Whether he liked it or not she was like his shadow, feeling safe that he was always around. But when they went to school, things were different and she felt like she couldn't be his shadow anymore. And that hurt her. He was never mean, but there was an air that he didn't want his little sister following his every move. |
SCHOOL YEARS. | Vivienne loved everything about the castle of Beauxbaton's Academy. The upscale designs, luxury dormitories, and vast beautiful gardens and greenhouses were all things that Vivi admired. Although she had a few friends in her first and second year, Vivienne found her crowd among the flowers and dirt. She loved her hands in soil and watching beautiful plants grow and dance as mature. It was life that she craved when she was in the garden, and knowing she was exceptional at making them thrive gave her a sense of purpose she didn't seem to find anywhere else. Overtime she did find her circle among her peers, coming to terms with the fact that her elder brother was too busy with his own life and friends to want her trailing on behind him. However, around thirteen, rather young mind you, she did find a closeness in an older student who she was completely infatuated. They grew quite close and bonded over her love of Herbology. While it wasn't his forte, he still showed an interest to entertain her mind.
In the same manner, Vivi listened to him talk about the hardships he faced of losing his parents and how hard it had been for him to have to grow up faster than any child should've. Maintaining a summer job and living at one of the local inn's when he wasn't at school. To Vivienne, they were star crossed. But to the older boy, she was a conquest and not all that he'd appeared to be. He was envious of her life and family name, and had planned to get close to Vivi in order to tarnish her reputation purposely. Unfortunately, just as their bond seemed to be growing, her parents learned about this older boy and feeling that their family name was at stake, insisted that she be transferred to Hogwarts. Vivienne was heartbroken in more ways than one. She didn't want to leave her school, her garden, her friends..Or the boy that she was sure truly cared about her. When Gabriel found out what was going on, he tried to make her see reason and protect her from what he knew would happen. Needless to say, this conversation did not go over well and resulted in quite a loud argument.
She is set to begin her fifth year at Hogwarts. She's hurt, angry, and unenthused by the entire ordeal. |

On the rare occurrence of a sunny day, Cascada Minor would never be caught indoors. If she was at Hogwarts, she would be found im the courtyard or garden, when not at work she could be found in Hogsmeade. It was one of her favorite places to visit on a warm and sunny day like today. People out and about, warm and inviting weather, ice cream from the shoppe what more could anyone ask for? The school year was coming to an end and with it her workload was slowly dwindling. Her muggleborn students were often excited for their first summer home, eager to tell their parents about their new adventures. Unfortunately, the end of school meant Cas would spend the majority of her time back at the manor with her mother. It was the only part of coming home that brought her dread. She'd hoped things would change and her mother would be willing to rekindle their relationship and maybe have some sort of mother and daughter connection. But that seemed to be more of a pipe dream.
Today, however, she wasn't worried about any of that. Today she sat on a bench in the middle of the village, basking in the glorious rare sunshine. She waved and made small talk with a few people passing by, but mostly she just enjoyed the people watching. Her dark hair was tied back into a tight pony tail, shorts revealing her tan legs, and a simple black tank top. She wanted to soak in as many rays as she could while it lasted. Back in North America, sunshine was abundant, here it was the opposite. She didn't mind as long as she could take advantage of days like today. Drawing in a deep breath, she exhaled her stress and watched the shoppers laughing a little at the younger crowd pulling their pranks and really enjoying their Saturday afternoon. She wondered what Keeley was doing, and Lux. But most of her thoughts always seemed to drift back to him. As much as she tried to keep them away, he always crept in and settled in the place that warmed her the most. What was doing, was he happy. She wanted the best for him, even if that life didn't coincide with her own.
