Welcome to Ruth seven sin family's well pureblood style at least. The Pureblood families of Pierce, Clarke, Huntington, Haywood, Leavitt, Jones and Devereux are all related from distant Great parents (4x great grandparents who was a a Pierce) who had seven children six of whom were females that married into pureblood families. All the families have deeply connected history in around Britian some of the seven sin families married into the purelood families of Europe. The Leavitt family is the only one of these seven families that have now not followed the strict pureblood pathway. So unless it is stated there are no nice members of these families. The Grey family who is an all-American pureblood family that is not a part of the seven families but also is a very strict pureblood family. The Pierce Family are one of the wizarding worlds well known Pureblood family’s. With wealth, culture, politics, history and well educated known to this name along with a many scandals that have plague this family for generations. Along with the upper classes with in the wizarding world and show of to the muggle world to the vast houses that come with this family.

For many of the family they are pressured or forced to live up to the family name and many seem to crumble at the edges and fear that if they will speak out that it will earn them a dishonour of the family and strike them against the family. As the Pierce family comes from a long line that dates back to the dark ages or from what the history has told this family. When the height of the Dark Arts took over the family. For this family there has been a long line of great ambition and ruthlessness have been in this family to succeed in what ever comes there way. Even pushing people out of the way to get to where they want to. The Pierce family have not been the most careful family in getting what they wanted in fact they are clumsy at time and show them self up in the process of it all.

It has been note though out the history that this family has been the one for notoriety for muggle hatred and muggle hunting that had been going on through out history. They have been vocal about wanting out muggle-borns and the blood traitors out from their world. Which has earned them a ruthless family in history. They have spent many century in drumming up about the dark arts and making it a vocal point for the family to learn and as well as making sure that the family stays pureblood in each and every way. It has been known for many of the family members to be involed with the Death Eaters many with them during the first wizarding war. To show that they are a dominate and loyal family.

The Pierce family are noted to be one of the scared clans of the Pureblood world. That has been noted though out history. Like many of the Pureblood families though out the history that they not be fully pure as they claim to be. Some people have claimed that they have no proper claim to being Pureblood as it has been noted though out history or since the big family merger in 1566 when James the Sixth of Scotland and first of England came to the thrown. It was said then that they were both muggle borns that came together because of their two families and wanting to keep the family line a foot. Since that time it was said that they often married muggle borns with the same name to keep the line going but this was only speculation.
