23 1ST AUGUST 1995 HISTORY OF MAGIC PROFESSOR HOGWARTS ILVERMORNY HORNED SERPENT PUREBLOOD KENSINGTON LONDON | PERSONALITY: Daralyn is an overachiever, who is very independent and a very practical person. She holds herself to a high standard as she does with anyone around her. She doesn't take any nonsense and will not tolerate those who speak out to her or be disrespectful to her or anyone. She can be very flirty at times. She is a smug person and can be very Prejudiced towards some people. She is a manipulative person who likes to get her own way and is also very impulsive. Being from a pureblood family she looks down on those who she sees as not worth being around. ASPIRATION: With being so young Daralyn is wanted to be a professor for a couple of years before trying to go to be headmistress but she also wants to go home and be headmistress for Ilvermony. CHILDHOOD. | Out side the city of Albany, New York. Towards the boarder of Massachusetts lives the Grey family. They have live there for several generations only marrying those of pureblood. Daralyn is the youngest of five siblings. Daralyn grew up with everything she wanted, though life growing up wasn’t always easy, she had to work for everything, being in the Grey family didn’t always come easy and with being the youngest Daralyn felt like she had to work ten times harder than her older siblings. They were not allowed to go near the muggles that were near by, it was strict sometime as Daralyn had to study even though she had not yet started at Ilvermorny. When she watched he siblings go to the school she had hopped that she could have some fun but her parents didn’t allow that. She didn’t think that she could be a child and have some fun. She would often try to sneak away from what she should be doing. Often she did get away she would be out in the family's home grounds trying to see if she could spot any muggle walking around or just trying to have some fun. She loved those day when she felt that she could just have some fun. |
YEAR 01. | Having been sorted into Horned Serpent, Daralyn found herself in a bit of an dazed or at least it felt like it. She was having to prove herself more, as she felt that her sibling were much better than she was and that she had a lot to live up to. She was often finding that she was trying to push herself more and more or just trying to impress everyone around her. The first year for Daralyn wasn’t a special many finding her pushy. |
YEAR 02. | Her second year seemed to be a bit more settled that many knew her but with still a few of her sibling here, she felt like she was being compared to them and she didn’t like it. Often wanting to show that she was better. She was always trying to get into many different activity as she could spending much of her time away from the common room. Even if it was outside in the grounds, she loved the outside. Her second year wasn’t really anything exciting. |
YEAR 03. | During her third year Daralyn thought that she would try out for the Quidditch team, though she wasn’t a good as some of her siblings she was put onto the reserve team, not that made Daralyn happy about that, she didn’t get to play, but she spent most evening practising and trying to prove that she should play for the next match. She was also working very hard during her lesson with also the new subjects that she had also taken on. |
YEAR 04. | Now in her fourth year things were getting a bit more stressful as her classes were getting a bit more work along with all the other things that she was doing. Now that she had also made the full house Quidditch team that she was surprised about as she thought that she would be on the reserve team again. She was quite pleased but she was slightly struggling with everything. She knew that she should drop something but didn’t want to give up on anything. She powered on through the year trying to manage everything. |
YEAR 05. | It seemed like her fifth year was going the same way as her fourth year but now with some exams that are quiet important. She did drop some clubs in order to focus on some career driven. She had started to think about she wanted to. She was also became a prefect. Many of her family member were working for the Ministry but she didn’t want that she wanted more. So she was trying out lots of different areas during this year. |
YEAR 06. | Now in her sixth year she took a step back from playing Quidditch as she was finding it a lot. Now she was working hard on what she wanted to do next after she left the school. She was finding a bit challenging to keep up with all the work that she had. She had picked several subjects that she knew could work well with any career. All she knew right now that she didn’t want to follow her family. |
YEAR 07. | Now in her final year, she was appointed head girl, she was quite happy as her other siblings had not managed to do so. She was spending quite a bit of time during this looking at travelling to other magical school and learning from them. She was quite focused on her exams and getting top marks. She would be found mostly in the library when she wasn’t in lessons. She barely stepped foot outside of the library. She did managed to get a few Os and the rest were EEs |

ADULTHOOD. | Daralyn couldn’t wait to leave home after graduating from Ilvermorny and when she took her chance, she started to travel and she planned to take a year out before she wanted to settle down with her career, but as she was travelling around Europe, she wanted to stop but she kept going on for a few more months. She stopped at Beauxbaton as liked the look of the castle as it was bright unlike Ilvermorny. So just after her nineteenth birthday she started as a teaching assistant to many professor around the school learning all she could about being a Professor and she spent a good few years there. During the holidays she would travel a bit more doing to places like Egypt and China and even Japan. Now she is on to new adventures at Hogwarts |
Special Situations
Daralyn has a slight limb on her right leg that she got from when she was born. Sometime she needs a walking aid to help her get around, but other than that there is nothing she can not handle

It was early morning, or at least Nikki thought that it was early as the others that were in her dorm room were still asleep, they normally were awake before her. She couldn't tell if it was early or not, with no windows she couldn't even look out of a window. One of the things she hated about being in this house. It was the fact that she couldn't look out of a window and also she felt like she was trapped with no way out. She pushed herself up on the bed and rubbed her eyes and put her head on her knees and took a few deep breaths as she tried to calm herself down. She had not had the best of nights sleeps, she found it hard to sleep most days. Today was nothing different, it had been the same dream as it had been for the last seven years always on repeat.
She wanted to get out as she really couldn't talk to those in her dorm room, she couldn't open up to them and she never could, she really wanted Lux but she really didn't want to wake her and those who were in her dorm room. So the only thing she could do was to get out of the common room and see if she could go for a walk. She headed out of the dorm room and into the common room, where it looked like the house-elves had cleaned up and the fire was lit. She could sit by the fire but she really didn't want to fall back to sleep again. She didn't want her dream again where the dog attacked her and it felt like it was happening all over again. It had happened when she was eight years old when she had been in the park and it had come out of no-where and the dog had left scars up and down her back. She walked out of the common room and headed to go up to the entrance hall and to the grounds where she could walk around the lake.
As she walked out into the entrance hall she could see that the sun had only just begun to rise over the forest. She slightly smiled to herself as she headed to the lake as she liked to smell the lake and the wind on her face. It helped calmed her down and her anxiety. The remainder of that day was not good and the fact that her parents were not as caring as they should have been towards Nikki. She was sure that they blamed her for it, that she had brought it on. She shook her head as she was now beside the lake and started on the path that was around it. She took in the lake water smell and it gave her a sensation that she really couldn't explain. It was just nice to be out and seeing the morning air and being able to walk around with no-one around was Nikki's idea of peace.
