End of Term Announcement!

Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening!

I know everyone’s has been busy in RL, muses have been fickle, and whatever else is going on, but that doesn’t change the fact that we are approximately 3 weeks away from term ending. With that in mind, here are some important dates to remember:

May 31: Current Round of Duels will close.

June 1: Final Round of Duels will open.

June 1: Accona Desert Memorial Thread will open. Any performers on site interested in “singing” for the Memorial, please PM me your character’s name and an appropriate song.

June 1: Hawaiian Themed Memories Ball will open. The persons with the most posts in the ball will be named Memories Ball King and Queen. Please review the rules for this in the ball thread. Posts will count for the entire month.

June 20: Classes will close. Remember: You need a minimum of 3 class posts to pass OR a completed Internship thread for 7th years.

June 30: Professors MUST submit their final pass lists and have all their students posts updated in their classes for final tallies. The sooner the better.

Upcoming Events for the Summer:

July:
July will be Family Themed RP Month – this means we want to highlight all the wonderful families on site but encouraging you all to plan family threads together and have fun interacting with your on site family members.

In cooperation with Family Themed RP Month there will be a Picnic in the Park prompt taking place in St. James’ Park in London, near Buckingham Palace.

Planning for the Hogsmeade Festival will begin in July. Get your thinking caps on! Anyone entering the Nox Dating Auction and the Broom Races will have until the end of July to get their characters signed up for it.

August:
The Hogsmeade Festival will open and last the duration of the month of August.

Nox Date Auction will open on Aug 1 and close on Aug 7 giving winners the remaining weeks of August to enjoy a date with whomever they won their bids for.

Broom Races will be coming back as well. Anyone who signs up will have 1 week to complete their race. 4 players per race.

Sept:
Tri-Wizard Tournament champion selections will begin. Members will be permitted to make 2 freebie characters, from foreign schools only, to increase their chances of becoming a champion and representing their school. Alternatively, members could transfer a current student from Hogwarts to another school for the duration of the school year in order for a chance to participate. Champions must be 16+ and currently attending a school.

You must have your characters sorted by Sept 15 and posted in the Tri-Wizard Champions Sign Up by that date.

More information on the tournament will come closer to the date.
