Farley is the youngest of the four siblings in the Haywood house old. He was brought up by his father and his mother Kaleb and Lissa. They were very strict with their children and Farely being the youngest was the most put up. He felt like he was always overshadowed by his sibling. Since he was born Farley felt like he was a little different, he is a very shy person but with that, he never felt like he was meant to be anywhere else. During his childhood, he would always say what he was thinking no matter what it was and that would get him in trouble. He never could help it. Growing up in the small village he would spend most of his time walking around causing trouble with the muggles that lived nearby or that would be seen causing some accidents. So most of the time Farley was forced to stay inside by his parents. Farley was annoyed by this and would anciently break things around the house because of his anger. So when he was able to get to Hogwarts his temper seemed to calm down for the most part. Not that his magical skills were great now that he could, but now that he was at Hogwarts he has now found a way to channel many things in his life. He was happy at Hogwarts then he was at home.

It was early morning, or at least Nikki thought that it was early as the others that were in her dorm room were still asleep, they normally were awake before her. She couldn't tell if it was early or not, with no windows she couldn't even look out of a window. One of the things she hated about being in this house. It was the fact that she couldn't look out of a window and also she felt like she was trapped with no way out. She pushed herself up on the bed and rubbed her eyes and put her head on her knees and took a few deep breaths as she tried to calm herself down. She had not had the best of nights sleeps, she found it hard to sleep most days. Today was nothing different, it had been the same dream as it had been for the last seven years always on repeat.

She wanted to get out as she really couldn't talk to those in her dorm room, she couldn't open up to them and she never could, she really wanted Lux but she really didn't want to wake her and those who were in her dorm room. So the only thing she could do was to get out of the common room and see if she could go for a walk. She headed out of the dorm room and into the common room, where it looked like the house-elves had cleaned up and the fire was lit. She could sit by the fire but she really didn't want to fall back to sleep again. She didn't want her dream again where the dog attacked her and it felt like it was happening all over again. It had happened when she was eight years old when she had been in the park and it had come out of no-where and the dog had left scars up and down her back. She walked out of the common room and headed to go up to the entrance hall and to the grounds where she could walk around the lake.

As she walked out into the entrance hall she could see that the sun had only just begun to rise over the forest. She slightly smiled to herself as she headed to the lake as she liked to smell the lake and the wind on her face. It helped calmed her down and her anxiety. The remainder of that day was not good and the fact that her parents were not as caring as they should have been towards Nikki. She was sure that they blamed her for it, that she had brought it on. She shook her head as she was now beside the lake and started on the path that was around it. She took in the lake water smell and it gave her a sensation that she really couldn't explain. It was just nice to be out and seeing the morning air and being able to walk around with no-one around was Nikki's idea of peace.
