CHARACTER APPLICATION
 | apollo reed 19 15 may 1998 auror trainee (in his second year of training) hogwarts/slytherin pureblood brighton, england | PERSONALITY: Apollo is a quiet person, he takes his time to analyze the situation before running in headfirst. He's known to be an observer and listener in his family, while most of his siblings can be the opposite. Even as a pureblood, his siblings and stepmother don't share the same purist thoughts others do, but they do consider arrangements if they think it's helpful to the family. He had been learning martials from a young age, so he could defend himself without the use of magic since students weren't allowed to use magic outside of the school and the magical shopping areas. His instincts are very sharp and though he doesn't have acute hearing, it might appear to be like that because he's sensitive to any noise around him. Apollo is very open-minded, but can be headstrong about certain things. LIKES/DISLIKES: Apollo enjoys watching action movies with his siblings when he gets home early. He continues to practice and work on his abilities to better himself as human being so he can do everything he can to keep people from getting hurt when he's a full fledged Auror. Anything to do with the outdoors, which are quieter than anything inside. He dislikes people that use their power to make other people suffer. A lot of people in this world think of themselves as better than everyone else and it just makes a darker world. Apollo doesn't like to be around noise or parties, but if he's with his friends, he wouldn't mind hangout at party areas. ASPIRATIONS: Apollo's most important aspiration is to help make the world a better place. He doesn't believe he has to a full blown Auror to keep people safe, with his current experience, he should be able to help people now. |

Apollo is a middle child of five. Technically, three of them are his full siblings, the other two are his half siblings. He was the youngest born to the Reed family, but the the his half siblings are still in school. His whole life, his parents were looking down on him because he was the younger child and wouldn't be inheriting anything unlike Ella and Harmony. He was also the only male, which made the being last even worse. At least his stepmother thought about him and would care for him even when his mother and father didn't care enough to give him an help when he was down on the ground.
He spent most of his years in school doing everything he could to prove himself to his parents. Apollo pushed himself to the very limits, one time even pushing himself through exhaustion until he fainted in the middle of a quidditch match to try to gain his parents' acceptance. It was only when he graduated and moved out of the house that he realized that he'd been wasting his time all those years. He finally began accepting himself for who he was and the things he was able to do without pushing himself too much.
Now, he wants to use his newfound love for himself to help other people. Apollo doesn't want anyone else to feel like they don't belong just because they weren't what their parents wanted. It's also the power his parents had that made it even more unbearable, but that didn't stop him from find his way in the end. His stepmother being his role model and his older siblings always looking after him, while he had the same feeling to protect all of his siblings from anything including maltreatment from their father and his mother.

For whatever reason Elizabeth was forced to go to this ridiculous ball, maybe a year ago she would’ve actually enjoyed such a party, but in this situation it wasn’t the most entertaining. The blonde hadn’t even tried to dress up to impress this time, her red dress was plain. If it wasn’t for the boldness of the color, she doubted anyone would notice her walking into the Great Hall. Maybe she was wrong and just believed she could walk through the school without being noticed, but she could make it so she wasn’t recognizable if she wanted to, but what was the purpose of that now? She thought the reason she had been left behind had been to do something for her father, but he didn’t send her a letter or anything. It must’ve been a punishment or something so she wouldn’t be home for the holidays or maybe her mother had interfered again?
Whatever the reason was for her staying at the school, Elizabeth was deeply grateful for the break from everything she had to do at home. While it still felt like both a blessing and curse to be stuck at the school for the holidays, she shouldn’t be stuck on that when there was a party going on. The blonde had stopped by the drink table to grab a glass of punch before walking off to the side of the room. Dancing. That’s what these parties were all about and Lizzie was not someone that would get up and dancing in front of a crowd. What a ridiculous idea? She shouldn’t have even thought about coming to the ball. There was no point.
As the blonde turned to leave, her eyes landed on someone she didn’t recall from any previous years. He was far too old to be a first year, so her guess was that he was a transfer student. Elizabeth glanced at his outfit. He was different from all the stuffy pureblood students at the school, that was a given from the way he dressed to this formal event. Lizzie looked away and moved to walk past him. New kid or not, she wasn’t in the mood to entertain these festivities anymore. She might as well go back to her dorm room and settle in for the night.
