TWELVE JUNE 25TH HOGWARTS STUDENT RAVENCLAW, SECOND YEAR HALFBLOOD LUTON, UNITED KINGDOM
| PERSONALITY: Naomi is equal parts inquisitive and introverted. She's constantly busy trying to improve, whether it's her schoolwork or the personality she's put up for others to perceive. She feels the need to belong and has yet to believe being herself is enough. She enjoys people-watching and can often come across as aloof, although she's constantly observing others. Naomi also enjoys her books, not as much for their content but for the conclusions that can be drawn from them.
ASPIRATION: Harbouring a secret envy to those better conversed in social skills, Naomi wants the social bonds they have. She feels the need to belong and has yet to believe being herself is enough. Whether she'll succeed in that regard will depend on who she interacts with. She's not sure what she wants to do when she grows up, but she's taken a liking to tales of old told to her by her parents, and her favourite subject so far has been History of Magic. With a school as old as Hogwarts, she's bound to run into interesting things as she explores.. Right? | LIKES: - Rainy days and the atmosphere they bring. A bit of gloom is always appreciated and it means she gets to stay indoors. - Deep and spicy smells. A hearty broth or stew reminds her of home. She also enjoys cloves, cardamom and cinnamon. - The company of others where both parties are doing their own activities. - Receiving praise, a lot! Naomi is often not aware if others are paying attention to how she's doing. - Scary stories to read in the dark. This has lead to some nights with little to no sleep but if asked she'll say that it was totally worth it.
DISLIKES: - Eventhough they're much like her, she's not fond of cats. - Her father, somewhat. Whereas her mother tried her best to prepare her for her venture to the wizarding world, her muggle father was mostly absent, only wishing to support her with muggle-related problems. - Sour candy and the smell of vinegar. - Having to raise her voice to make herself clear. - Flying. She can do it but unless falling is intended she suffers from vertigo. |
