n October 31st 1991 a twins were born one boy and a girl in Birmingham to two loving parents one older sister and one older brother, they named him Ian, since he was the youngest he often spent time with his three siblings and looking up to them, often running after them when they were doing something, often getting in trouble or getting bumps and bruises. He was 4 when he got a younger brother. 

Being the middle child made Ian into a dare devil since he were often found climbing trees or stealing his fathers wand to make spells in secret and of course getting in trouble for it when his father found him making small snowflakes in the whole house by the age of 3 since he had no idea what he was doing and that was his very first spell. In the end their father had to lock up his wand and the other wands as well so Ian would not accidentally hurt himself or others by doing magic that was not made for him at such a young age. He often hung out with his twin sister when he grew up.

At the age of 5 tragedy struck his parents within a week got murdered. His father was a young boy in Hogwarts called Mateo or something, Ian doesn't really know but he still blames the boy party for being orphaned today. His mother died a week later right in front of him being tortured to death by death eaters that was angry at her and blaming her for losing the war, the 4 siblings had been hiding in diffrent places in the mansion and Ian had happened to be hiding exacly where his mother ended up tortured to death. This did something to Ian and he ended up with severe issues through his years. 

A secret he has kept is that after the death eaters had killed his mother, they found him and used The Cruciatus Curse on him, Ian had no idea how long they did it to him, or how long it took for the aurors to finally find them, but when they did Ian was not himself anymore.

He blames Harry Potter and the boy who accidently killed his father for being an orphan and being put in their uncle's care until his big brother was old enough to take care of the family, much to Ian's dismay. 

When he got to Hogwarts at age 11 he was almost sure he would get put in Ravenclaw, that had been his dream house for years, but when the hat did a 360 and put him in Slytherin because he thought he would do better there just like his parents and siblings before him, he went quiet for a week mumbling in french curse words which he had learned in french movies at home, but it soon became better, and he started to like his house for what it was. Though he did not make friends easily and often ended up in fights. 

In his second year he came back with people whispering behind his back, so he started to break some lesser rules to see how far he could go without getting expelled, but he somehow was still able to keep his grades up since he did sometime in the future get a good job. 

He started to talk back and used sarcasm as a defense mechanism, pushing people away and not really having many friends left in school at the end, only having people that understood left at the end that he still has at this point in time. He somehow got through school at the end graduating with good grades even, but he had still been a problem child, so he would still have to work hard to get the job he dreamed of.

His first job at the ministry was being a secretary to someone, but after he did a spell wrong he was put into wand sorting, it was a dead end job, but he tried to do the best out of things often going into his own mind and thinking about other things while he sorted the wands. He still has nightmares even though he was only 5 years old when he was tortured. Often waking up screaming because of this fact. 

He has now worked his way up to an hogwarts express engineer. Which is a very interesting job in many ways. He also is kind of a heart breaker, often sleeping with people and not really treating them right and ends up getting dumped, mostly because he is very grumpy and not the nicest. 

He does however have a strong bond with Ciaran Gilpatrick, he doesn't really remember how they met or how the other ended up as someone he cared for, it just did. 

Ian moves to get the next batch of wands from his coworker and gives out a sigh since it was a big one this time, he would end up being here all day now, he moves forward and stare at the wand in his hand and frown it had been taken off an old wizard and the dark magic could be felt in it. He could feel a small shiver as he placed it in the correct place and moved on to the next one.

And so his day went, going from wand to wand. Soon it was lunchtime but Ian's mind was elsewhere, and he carried on his duty without eating, like he often does on busy days like this. Soon he hears someone enter and turns around, and sees his big brother walking in. He gives out a sigh and turns back around to sort the rest of the wands. "Why do you always have to come and bother me at work? Don't you have another brother, sister or you know a wife to bother?" he asks over his shoulder as he sorts the last of the wands, and takes his own wand and moves the basket towards its placement before he spells another basket to come to him.

Okay so maybe he secretly liked that his big brother was a big mother who wanted to take care of him. But at the same time he just wanted to do his job and go back home and then have another day to work and try to figure out what he really wanted to do with his life.
